All our semi permanent makeup eyeliner treatments are done with a cosmetic tattoo machine that deposit pigment in the upper layer of the skin. The semi permanent make up eyeliner treatment also benefits people with hair loss conditions. This treatment is also ideal for sports people who sweat a lot.
Lash Enhancement
The most natural looking eyelash treatment available to enhance your eyes, without the traditional eyeliner look. “The no makeup, makeup look.” This treatment works well for men as well. By adding pigment in-between the lashes you can create more volume, definition and thicker looking eyelashes.
We offer 2 different techniques for lash enhancement. One, we can add dots in between you lashes to create the appearance of more eye lashes or two, add a very thin line in between you lashes for more definition. This eyeliner tattoo technique can be compared to powdered in eyeliner on your lash line, in between your eyelashes. With our new pixel permanent cosmetics techniques we can create soft smudge proof makeup that lasts and still look completely natural. Please allow 1 to 1 and a half hours for this treatment.
Semi Permanent Eyeliner
The eye pigment is applied above the lash line to create the more dense, traditional eyeliner. Eye liner is a very personal thing and how thick we will apply your semi permanent makeup eyeliner will be up to you and how you usually wear it. Please allow 1 and a half to 2 and a half hours for this treatment. (depending on thickness)
Shaded/Smokey
The new on trend fashion. A fine traditional semi permanent eyeliner to create definition and soft shading done with our new pixel semi permanent makeup technique to create sultry eyes. Please allow 2 to 2 and a half hours for this treatment. (depending on thickness)
Things To Remember Before Your Treatment
– Avoid sunbathing, laser treatment or eyelash tinting at least 2 weeks before your treatment.
– Please remove eyelash extensions before your eyeliner treatment.
– No alcohol, caffeine or blood thinning products 24 hours before your treatment.
– Inflamed skin (around the eye area).
– Area will be red and swollen after treatment, so take this in consideration when you make your booking.
– Do not discontinue any medication without your doctor’s consent.
– You cannot donate blood up to 6 months after your treatment.
– Fillers and injectable treatments should be carried out 2 weeks before or after your semi permanent makeup treatment.
Semi Permanent Eyeliner Consultation
Before Annette starts doing any cosmetic treatment she has an in depth consultation with her client to make sure we meet your expectations. We offer a number of semi permanent makeup eyeliner techniques and we will discuss what treatment will work best for you. She will guide you through the semi permanent makeup treatment process and answer any questions you might have. You will have the option for a patch test if you have any concerns of an allergic reaction. If not, your semi permanent makeup eyeliner procedure can be done on the same day if you sign a waiver for the patch test.
Treatment
Moving on to the pre-drawing, Annette takes her time drawing on the eyeliner with an eyeliner pencil to create the perfect shape that compliments her client’s facial features. The pre-drawing can take anywhere from 10 – 20 (if not longer) minutes to get the shape and symmetry perfect. This is the most important part of the procedure and you can be confident that you are in safe hands. We will select the colour pigment to compliment your eyes and skin colour.
We use high quality pigments that are hypo allergenic and sterilized needles for single use only.
Aftercare
You can expect the area around your eyes to be slightly red and swollen immediately after your semi permanent eyeliner procedure and this will disappear after a few hours. The swelling will take a bit longer, 1 to 2 days to calm down.
The eyeliner tattoo will appear slightly darker immediately after the treatment and will lose up to 40% of the intensity of the colour after 1 week once the scabs/dry skin have cleared up. During this time (1st week) it is recommended to avoid touching the area, use cosmetic creams on the eye area, sunbathing or wet the eye area. We recommend dry healing for your eyeliner tattoo. Do not pick the scabs as this can result in pigment loss. It takes up to 4 – 6 weeks for the colour to settle and completely heal.
We will book you in for a semi permanent eyeliner top up appointment 4-6 weeks after your initial treatment as you may have areas that need more pigment added. This is also the perfect time to make minor adjustments to the shape and colour if need be. (Pigment retention can be influenced by after care, skin type, medication and immune system.) If skin retention is poor, in some cases a 3rd session is required. (This rarely happens).
Semi permanent makeup eyeliner typically lasts 12 to 18 months. Oily skin, skin texture, exposure to sun, exfoliation products and skin lightening products can affect the longevity of your eyeliner tattoo. Avoid applying these creams on the cosmetic tattoo. We recommend a yearly colour boost to keep your cosmetic tattoo at its best.

– person with an eye infection
– pregnant or breastfeeding
– viral infections
– epilepsy
– treatment for acne in the last 12 months
– prone to keloid/hypo trophic scarring
– chemotherapy treatment in the last 6 months (unless with doctor’s consent)
– auto-immune disorders
– any medication that have blood thinning properties
– any person with a pacemaker, ICD or heart conditions
– skin inflammation around the treatment area
