Microneedling
Microneedling stimulates collagen production and rejuvenate and improves skin texture. This is a minimal invasive procedure and by adding serums we can add hydration and nutrients to treat other skin concerns as well. Microneedling can reduce the appearance of enlarged pores, scars, fine wrinkles , stretch marks and signs of ageing. Microneedling is also an option for hair loss treatments.
This treatment is done with a professional pen with tiny needles that punctures the skin that targets the top dermis in the skin. It encourage the skin to renew and repair the skin cells.
There is very little down time and you can expect the area to feel slightly stingy and tight immediately after.
We use bio cellular serums to target certain skin conditions:
Infini BTX:
- Anti-aging
- Infused with an anti wrinkle non toxic peptide, argireline that helps combats fine lines and wrinkles
- Hydration with hyaluronic acid (minimal compared to skin booster)
- Helps anti wrinkle treatments last longer
Recommended 4 sessions performed every 4 weeks. A follow up treatment is recommended every 3 – 6 months to maintain improved skin condition.
Infini S:
- Dedicated for skins in good condition and as a therapy supporting the effects of other aesthetic treatments
- Skin revitalising, moisturiser promoting luminous skin
- Hyaluronic acid, vitamins and amino acids
- Reduces redness with niacinamide
Recommended 4 sessions performed every 4 weeks. A follow up treatment is recommended every 3 – 6 months to maintain improved skin condition.
Illuma Crystal Rose:
- Polynucleotide serum
- Regeneration of skin cells
- Moisturising
- Aids elasticity
- Glutathione for lightening and brightening
Recommended 4 x sessions performed every 4 weeks. A follow up treatment is recommended every 3 – 6 months to maintain improved skin condition.
Exosomes: (Exocean)
- Promoting tissue repair and regeneration
- Stimulates hair growth
- Scarring – 3 sessions interval 2 weeks
- Pigmentation – 4 sessions interval 2 weeks
- Scalp – 6 sessions interval 2 weeks (not suitable for people with alopecia areata)
The number of sessions required will depend on the area that is being treated and can take up to several months to see improvement.

Things To Remember Before Your Microneedling Treatment:
- Avoid sunbathing, waxing, skin peels, laser treatments at least 2 weeks before your treatment.
- Darker skin is susceptible to hyper-pigmentation
- No alcohol, caffeine or blood thinning products 24 hours before your treatment. Do not discontinue any medication without your doctor’s consent.
- Inflamed skin around the treatment area.
- Area will be red and swollen after treatment, so take this in consideration when you make your booking.
- Fillers and injectable treatments should be carried out 2 weeks before or after your microneedling treatment.
Consultation
Before Annette starts doing any cosmetic treatment she has an in depth consultation with her client to make sure we meet your expectations. She will adjust the needle depth (0.5mm to 1mm or more) according to the area being treated and discuss which serum will benefit you best. She will guide you through the microneedling treatment and answer all questions you might have. You will have the option for a patch test if you have any concerns of an allergic reaction. If not, the procedure can be done on the same day.
Treatment
Annette will cleanse the area with a disinfectant solution before starting the treatment. The microneedling treatment will be followed up with a complimentary polynucleotide face mask. Please allow 45 minutes for your treatment.
Aftercare
You can expect the area around the treatment area to be slightly red and swollen immediately after the procedure and this will disappear within a couple of hours. We will provide you with aftercare instructions for optimal results and potential side effects.
Candidates not suitable for microneedling:
- persons under the age of 18 years
- pregnant or breastfeeding
- open wounds
- infections around the treatment area
- viral infections
- treatment for acne in the last 12 months
- prone to keloid/hypo trophic scarring
- any skin disorders
- auto-immune disorders
- chemotherapy treatment in the last 6 months (unless with doctor’s consent)
- any medication that have blood thinning properties
- any person with a pacemaker, ICD or heart conditions
- skin inflammation around the treatment area
- hepatitis
Cancellations:
Deposit refunds will only be given with 48 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will incur a full charge for the treatment.
