PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) is a safe, non-invasive treatment that boosts regeneration and growth of cells by using concentrated platelets harvest from your own blood.
In this 3-step process, a small sample is usually taken from your arm and processed in a centrifuge to produce the highly concentrated platelets, which will then be injected into the targeted area.
PRP is the liquid part of your blood that contains white blood cells, cytokines and proteins that promotes growth, healing, and rejuvenation.
This treatment is biocompatible and there is minimal risk to allergic reactions.
The procedure usually takes around 1 hour.
PRP therapy is used to target the following areas:
Scalp:
PRP therapy is used to stimulate hair growth by injecting platelet-rich plasma into the scalp to target inactive hair follicles. It also has the benefit of an increase in hair thickness, density and helps protect your hair from prematurely shedding. There is minimal down time and results will gradually improve over a few weeks as growth is stimulated. Multiple sessions are needed for best results and we recommend you start off with 4 sessions, 1 session every 2 weeks. Results will be noticeable as soon as 2 weeks after your 1st treatment.
As part of your hair loss treatment plan 1 follow up session is recommended every 6 months.
Skin:
Vampire facial
Plasma-rich platelets are micro needled into the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production, and improving skin texture. Also known as the red-carpet glow before big events, this rejuvenation treatment has no down time and you can see results immediately after 1 session.
PRP Meso / Vampire face lift
Plasma-rich platelets are injected into the face and under eye area to rejuvenate the skin and improve fine lines and wrinkles. PRP drives the production of new skin cells. It is slightly more invasive than the vampire facial, with minimal down time. Results will gradually improve over the following weeks as new collagen and elastin builds. We recommend 4 sessions for long lasting results.
Scars:
The concentrated PRP is injected or micro needled into the targeted areas to promote healing. There is minimal downtime, with results gradually improving over a few weeks as collagen builds. Multiple sessions are needed for best results and we recommend you start off with 4 sessions, 1 session every 2 weeks.
