Dermaplaning
Annette will use a special blade to remove the outer layer of the skin to exfoliate and smooth the skin texture. Dermaplaning is a painless, non invasive treatment that removes dead cells and peach fuzz from the skin. It allows for better penetration of skin treatments and produces a radiant glow. Dermaplaning is suitable for most skin types and delivers immediate results that can last up to 3 weeks.
We like to use dermaplaning as a pre-treatment in our chemical peels procedure.

Chemical Peels
Chemical peels are used to remove the upper layers of the skin. Resurfacing and exfoliation targets hyperpigmentation, sun damage, acne, big pores, fine lines and wrinkles and light scarring. Areas that can be treated includes face, neck , decolletage and hands. We also offer Infini IntimatePeelPro for sensitive areas like underarms, elbows, post pregnancy marks, sensitive acne, bikini line and is a good introduction to chemical peels.
We use a medical bio revitalizing medium depth peel for intensive skin renewal in our clinic that is painless and you can expect little down time. A unique form of acid peeling includes stabilized trichloroacetic complex synergy, in combination with mandelic and kojic acid allows the acid components to be of the highest effectiveness without the side effect of long lasting irritation and the peeling of skin.

Our chemical peel treatment is so much more than just a peel. It is a detailed procedure specially created to give you a bespoke optimal treatment which compliments cellular repair and your end result. We like to start our treatment with a cleanse, dermaplaning and microneedling to prepare the skin for the chemical peel. By doing so we have better penetration when we apply the chemical peel. The peel stays on for 3 – 5 minutes and followed up with a complimentary polynucleotide mask to soothe, hydrate and plump your skin.
We recommend the treatment plan as follows: 1st session, 2nd session 2 weeks later, 3rd session 4 weeks later and 4th session 6 weeks later.
Results may vary depending on existing skin condition.

Things To Remember Before Your Chemical Peel Treatment:
- Avoid sunbathing, waxing, electrolysis, laser treatments at least 2 weeks before your treatment.
- No alcohol, caffeine or blood thinning products 24 hours before your treatment. Do not discontinue any medication without your doctor’s consent.
- Inflamed skin around the treatment area.
- Area will be red and swollen after treatment, so take this in consideration when you make your booking.
- Fillers and injectable treatments should be carried out 2 weeks before or after your chemical peel treatment.
Consultation
Before Annette starts doing any cosmetic treatment she has an in depth consultation with her client to make sure we meet your expectations. She will evaluate your skin condition and advise which peel will suite your skin best. She will guide you through the chemical peel process and answer all questions you might have. You will have the option for a patch test if you have any concerns of an allergic reaction. If not, the procedure can be done on the same day.
Treatment
Please allow 1 hour for your treatment.
Aftercare
You can expect the area around the treatment area to be slightly red immediately after the procedure and this will disappear after a few hours. It is recommended to avoid touching the area, use acid and retinol cosmetic creams on the area for a couple of days after the treatment. Skin might darken as the skin heals. Treated areas takes about 14 days to heal after a medium chemical peel. It is important to wear SPF after your chemical peel, in failing to do so can cause permanent uneven pigmentation in treated area. We will provide you with aftercare instructions for optimal results and potential side effects.
Candidates not suitable chemical peels:
- pregnant or breastfeeding
- infections around the treatment area
- viral infections
- treatment for acne in the last 12 months
- prone to keloid/hypo trophic scarring
- any skin disorders
- auto-immune disorders
- chemotherapy treatment in the last 6 months (unless with doctor’s consent)
- any medication that have blood thinning properties
- skin inflammation around the treatment area
- hepatitis
Cancellations:
Deposit refunds will only be given with 48 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will incur a full charge for the treatment.
