Annette is based in Wimbledon and will conduct a comprehensive consultation before she starts a procedure.
Micropigmentation, also known as Semi-permanent makeup or Cosmetic tattooing is the method of depositing high quality mineral pigments in the dermal layer of the skin with an ultra-thin needle in a sterile environment. This aesthetic treatment is completely safe and medically approved to enhance the shape of the lips, eyes and eyebrows. Micropigmentation is beneficial to men and women and can be divided into two categories. Category one is beauty and is ideal for people who are active sports men/women, want to save time on makeup application, want to look their best all the times, are vision impaired or seek alteration of facial features. This treatment creates flawless makeup for eyebrows, lips and eyes. Category two is for medical conditions like alopecia, scarring, vitiligo and areolo pigmentation for breast reconstruction.
Annette is highly skilled and only uses the most advanced equipment and pigments. She will put you at ease with her professional approach and you can rest assured that you are in good hands. She will never carry out work that will not benefit you and will only provide a service when you are 100% happy with the pencil design before treatment. She will apply a topical anaesthetic cream before starting a procedure. There might be a little discomfort, but most clients feel nothing at all. A beauty cosmetic tattoo normally takes about 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes depending on your requirements. Immediately after a treatment the area will appear 50% darker than the colour you selected, but will start to fade after 5 days. After 4 - 8 weeks you will return to the salon for your retouch which is included in the price. The retouch procedure usually takes 40 - 60 minutes. A medical tattoo treatment usually takes about 2 - 4 hours, depending on your individual needs. It could be that you need more than one treatment to achieve the best result. We will provide you with an aftercare cream that you will need to apply to the treated area.
